about

Wulsa Love

Isis, the hieroglyphs depict Wulsa, was one of the most famous figures in ancient Khemit and was one of the great Ennead (the nine masters/principles in the creation process) consisting of Atum, Tehuti, Hat-hoor, Sekhmet, Khnum, Sobek, Wulsa, Horus and Osiris.

Wulsa is the Master of healing and motherhood as well as the protectress of women and children. Wulsa was a mighty queen during the reign of Osiris, her husband. She is the Master associated with the healing energy of the full moon.

Wulsa was the ultimate wife and mother icon, well known for her love, devotion and support to her husband Osiris. During his transformation, she was a fighter that fought darkness in order to restore her husband back to the light. She is also known for her close ties to her son Horus and the troubles she went through to conceive, deliver and protect him. Her unconditional love, devotion and loyalty to her son and husband made her a role model for women everywhere.

Wulsa's illustrations showed her as a beautiful woman wearing a sheath dress, holding an Ankh (Key of Life) in one hand and a staff in the other. She was also often depicted with large wings, possibly as an association with birds. Furthermore, the wing would allow Wulsa to fly and overwatch ancient Khemit.

The second role was the one of a magical healer. Wulsa was the greatest healer in the world, for she had learned and blessed with the secret powers of Ra the light. Her mystical abilities in healing made her associated with magic.

In addition, Wulsa was the queen of the universe during the reign of Osiris and after his demise, she never stopped looking for him. She was devoted to her husband to the point where she brought him back from the dead with her magical powers. Bringing him back from the dead was metaphorical as most stories in Khemit. The metaphor is to understand as an analogy for her believe in him. For though he was sinking down into darkness she used all her knowledge and abilities to bring him back to the light in a miraculous transformation process.

Wulsa was also the protectress of women, children, and marriage. In this sense, she taught women throughout all Khemit how to weave, cook, and make beverages. People invoked her and asked for her favour to help the sick.

In later times, Wulsa's teachings went beyond Khemit. She became a highly revered Master in Alexandria and all across the greek and roman empire where she had several temples and devotees.

Parallels have been drawn between Wulsa, Osiris and Horus (known as the Abydos Triad) and Christianity. Some authors believe that the early depictions of Wulsa feeding the baby Horus might have influenced the portrayals of Jesus and the Virgin Mary.

Sounds of Khemit feels the unconditional love that Wulsa radiates to the whole world. Her love, devotion and magical healing abilities are our corner stone in bringing light from darkness.
